Are you ready for the challenge?

SAVE A TONNE

Initiative

The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is an initiative implemented across Canada. It shifts the responsibility for end-of-life product management to producers, including brand owners, first importers, and manufacturers.

The key challenge of this initiative is to significantly reduce waste of materials like paper, plastic, and metal in order to lessen landfill usage. This requires a collective effort from all stakeholders and innovative solutions to complex problems.

Challenge

As of May 2024, EPR reporting will become mandatory in Ontario, further emphasizing the need for compliance.
